Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh..............that's better.

3 hours 1-4pm, comfortably powered for most of it, stonking weather not a cloud in the sky, like being abroad. Too hot in my winter suit. Now I'm tired...sunburt...and happy.

Changed my day off from Tuesday to Wednesday (thank you Charlotte!) cos forecast looked better. Tuesday evening and forecast was getting steadily worse, but fine in the end, must have been some thermal top-up today.

Was bang on high tide when I wanted to go out so went to Worthing cos shorebreak apparently less severe there. Pain in the arse drive to get there, don't think I'll bother in future. Comfortably powered for most of the session with the occasional lull. Being high tide water state was a lumpy mess, making for very bumpy uncomfortable sailing. Moved mast track forwards which helped smooth out the bumps just a bit. Gybing rusty but OK.

The lumpy crap water and relatively un-exciting conditions would normally mean a 3 star rating. But the blazing sunshine and the fact it was my first proper session in months definitely earns it 4. Sorted :)
